objectives comprise approximately 20% of the planning/economic development work load. <br />These projects are advanced as time and resources permit. <br />The EDC Work Plan assumes that the Community Development Department is able to maintain <br />its current level of planning and economic development staffing which includes the Community <br />Development Director, City Planner, and a full-time intern/Associate Planner.If the City is <br />unable to maintain staffcapacity due to budgetary or other reasons, staff recommends that the <br />EDC focus its efforts on marketing and outreach in order to continue building and improving the <br />City’s relationship with the business community.
