http://www.twincities.com/politics/ci_24267709/ramsey-county-bon <br />In Ramsey County bonding priorities, $15.6 million for roads nea <br />TCAAP <br />By Frederick Melo fmelo@pioneerpress.com TwinCities.com-Pioneer <br />TwinCities.com <br />Posted: <br />East metro ski trails, a proposed transit line from St. Paul to <br />Interstate 694 in Shoreview and Vadnais Heights are among Ramsey <br />2014. <br />The Ramsey County Board of Commissioners voted Tuesday to give p <br />bonding requests to state lawmakers, as well as a sixth request <br />The bonds will be included in a package to the Legislature, whic <br />approval to later this year. <br />The requests include $5 million for I-694 capacity improvements <br />Avenue, $4 million for design and construction improvements to t <br />and $2 million for pre-design and design work on the proposed Ru <br />They also include $10 million for an engineering study to allevi <br />railway network, mostly in St. Paul's Hoffman Yard, and to impro <br />Union Depot in downtown St. Paul. <br />Another $15.6 million would support four transportation projects <br />Ammunition Plant site in Arden Hills, mostly along the Interstat <br />and H. Eager to see the acreage turned over to private developer <br />expand the county's tax base, county officials expect to ask for <br />projects through 2018. <br />County Commissioner Janice Rettman, who has been critical of the <br />million to buy and clean up the contaminated TCAAP property, cas <br />bonding request.
