<br /> <br /> AGENDA ITEM 1A <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: February 18, 2014 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />TO:Honorable Mayor and City Council Members <br /> <br /> <br />FROM: Patrick Klaers, City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />SUBJECT: CTV North Suburbs Update <br /> <br /> <br />Background/Discussion <br /> <br />Coralie Wilson, Executive Director, Northwest Suburban Communications Committee <br />(NSCC)/ Northwest Suburban Access Corporation (NSAC), will be at the work session to <br />provide the City Council with her annual update on the status of activities and projects at <br />CTV. <br /> <br />Over the past year (plus), the major item of business at CTV has been the negotiations <br />with Comcast for a new cable franchise agreement. <br /> <br />Attached for your information is the 2013 Year in Review from CTV. <br /> <br />Also attached for your information is the summary of 2012 and 2013 franchise fees paid <br />and 2013 and 2014 city contributions (to NSCC). <br /> <br />Our City representative on the CTV Board, Craig Wilson, has been invited to this work <br />session. <br />
