NEW BUSINESS 8A <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: <br />February 24, 2014 <br /> <br />TO: <br /> Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br /> Patrick Klaers, City Administrator <br /> <br />FROM: <br />Matthew Bachler, Associate Planner <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Planning Case #14-004 <br /> Applicant: <br />Allina Health Emergency Medical Services <br />Request: <br /> Zoning Code AmendmentAmbulance Dispatch Facility <br /> <br />Requested Action <br /> <br />The Planning Commission reviewed Planning Case 14-004 on February 5, 2014, and <br />recommends the following action: Motion to deny Planning Case 14-004 to adopt Ordinance 14- <br />Amendment To Section 1305.04 And Section 1320.05 Of The Zoning Code <br />Regarding Ambulance Dispatch Facilities in the B-ndings of fact as <br />presented in the February 24, 2014, Report to the City Council. <br /> <br />Please note that this case is being processed in conjunction with Planning Case 14-005, which is <br />an application from Allina Health Emergency Medical Services for a Conditional Use Permit to <br />operate an ambulance substation at 1209 County Road E. In order to grant the Conditional Use <br />Permit in Planning Case 14-005, the Zoning Code Amendment would need to be approved. <br /> <br />If the Council votes to approve Planning Case 14-004, a second motion should be made to <br />approve publication of a Summary of Ordinance 14-001.
