CONSENT ITEM 5C MEMORANDUM DATE: March 10, 2014 TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers Patrick Klaers, City Administrator FROM: Matthew Bachler, Associate Planner SUBJECT: Planning Case #14-011 Applicant: Roberts Management Group Property Location: 3833 Lexington Avenue North Subject: Lexington Station Final Plat Approval Requested Action Motion to approve Planning Case 14-011 for a Final Plat for the Lexington Station redevelopment at 3833 Lexington Avenue North. Background On July 8, 2013, the City Council approved a Master Planned Unit Development, Final Planned Unit Development for Phase I, and Preliminary Plat for the Lexington Station redevelopment project at 3833 Lexington Avenue North in Planning Case 13-003. At that time, Roberts Management Group had also applied for Final Plat approval in Planning Case 13-003. Due to necessary revisions to the Preliminary Plat, a Final Plat was not submitted for Council action with the remaining requests in Planning Case 13-003. The applicant has since completed all required revisions to the Preliminary Plat based on comments received from City and Ramsey County staff. Due to the minor changes made to the plat, staff determined that the Final Plat did not need to be reviewed by the Planning Commission prior to City Council action on the item. Currently, the area that will make up the three phases of the Lexington Station redevelopment is comprised of four parcels and Phase I of the development is divided between two separate City of Arden Hills City Council Meeting for March 10, 2014 P:\Planning\Planning Cases\2014\PC 14-011 - Lexington Station - Final Plat\City Council - 03-10-14_14-011 Page 1 of 2
