Staff recommends the following six (6)
conditions to be included with the approval:

1. Any significant changes to these plans, as determined by the City
Planner, shall require review and approval by the Planning Commission.
2. Emergency sirens shall not be used by ambulances until they are within forty (40) feet of
the County Road E right-of-way.
3. Ambulances shall limit the use of emergency sirens between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and
6:00 a.m. to instances where traffic needs to be cleared.
4. No more than one ambulance shall be parked at the facility at any time.
5. Ambulances shall be parked indoors at all times.
6. The applicant will request an amendment to the Conditional Use Permit for any increase
in square footage or in intensity of the ambulance dispatch facility use.

Associate Planner Bachler
reviewed the options available to the Planning Commission on this
matter:

1.
