ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL FEBRUARY 24, 201420 <br /> <br />Councilmember McClung <br /> indicated that open space <br />was not in alignment with how this site was being used. He believed that the SSO would <br />encourage additional after hours dumping. <br /> <br />Mayor Grant <br /> stated that the potential for animals, increased odor and the closeness to residential <br />homes were all concerns for him. <br /> <br />The motion carried (5-0). <br /> <br />Mayor Grant <br />requested the City Attorney to draft written findings based on the discussion of the <br />City Council. <br /> <br />9. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />10. COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden <br />recommended that staff investigate the cable concerns and report back <br />to the Council. She discussed a recent article regarding senior playground equipment. <br /> <br />Councilmember McClung <br /> indicated that the Ramsey County Friends of the Park was holding its <br />annual tree sale. He reported that brochures were available at City Hall and additional <br />information was available online. He encouraged residents to purchase a tree for the City. He <br />st <br />noted that he would not be able to attend the City Council meeting on March 31. <br /> <br />Mayor Grant <br /> stated that the City had a number of Ash trees and the City was working to <br />diversify the tree stock within its parks. <br /> <br />Councilmember Werner <br />complimented the Public Works Department for keeping up with the <br />snow and ice from the recent storms. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holmes moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a <br />motion to adjourn.
