APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />The Council accepted the agenda as presented. <br /> <br />2. AGENDA ITEMS <br /> <br /> <br />A.B2 District Project <br /> <br />Public Works Director Maurer <br />stated the County Road E (B-2 District) Feasibility Report was <br />presented at the February 10, 2014 Council Meeting. At that meeting it was the consensus of the <br />Council to hold off approving the feasibility report until further information could be provided on <br />the lighting component of the project to reduce the expense. <br /> <br />Public Works Director Maurer <br />reported that approximately two weeks ago staff sent an email to <br />the Council with information from Xcel Energy regarding lighting options that they could provide <br />on the County Road E project. The Xcel information includes two options both based on 200 foot <br />light spacing. The spacing could be reduced but the cost would increase as more fixtures are <br />added. The Xcel proposal was dated November 25, 2013. The basic option, estimated at <br />approximately $87,000, is an 18 foot direct bury pole with the standard Colonial fixture. The more <br />expensive option, at approximately $202,000, would be the same number of lights (20) but on a <br />15 foot base mounted pole with a more decorative Vernon fixture. The City would be <br />responsible for removing the existing lights with both options. The email from staff also included <br />
