maintain an LOS D or better at almost all of the intersections with the exception of the CR 96 and the
Property access located at the entrance to the TCAAP site in the AM peak (LOS F). The major
movement contributing to the LOS F is the westbound movements. Due to a high westbound through
volume and a lack of capacity, the traffic conditions deteriorate causing high delays.
During the PM peak three intersections are expected to operate at LOS E or LOS F. Which are
further described below:
Old CR-H and CR-96
The traffic volumes on the southbound left and northbound right cause significant
o
delays and impact the overall LOS at the intersection. These movements are both
operating at an unacceptable LOS.
CR-96 and Property Access
Similarly to the AM peak the WB through movement demand exceeds capacity
o
causing major delays for westbound traffic.
CR-H and US-10
The high demands on the northbound through movements and the westbound
o
movements are causing high delays and queues that affect the overall LOS of the
intersection.
Table 7
The delays and LOS for this scenario can be seen in below.
Table 7 2030 Minimum Development Scenario Peak Hour Baseline Analysis Results
2030 Baseline Min AM2030 Baseline Min PM
Intersection
LOSDelay (sec)LOSDelay (sec)
Old CR H and CR 96
C25E66
CR 96 and SB I-35W Ramp
C20C33
CR 96 and NB I-35W Ramp
C21C27
Round Lake Rd W and CR 96
B18C22
Lakeshore Pl and CR 96
C28D42
CR 96 at US 10 NB Ramp
ANo ControlANo Control
CR 96 and Property Access
139116
FF
CR H and US 10
D3998
F
CR H and SB I-35W
B13B16
CR H and NB I-35W
A4A9
CR I and SB I-35W
C20C20
CR I and NB I-35W
A9B12
CR I and Old Hwy 8
A4C18
CR I and N Fairview Ave
A6A5
b.
