ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL—MARCH 10, 2014 8
in the March 10, 2014, Report to the City Council, as amended by the following four (4)
conditions:
1. That the project shall be completed in accordance with the plans submitted as amended by
the conditions of approval. Any significant changes to these plans, as determined by the
City Planner, shall require review and approval by the Planning Commission and City
Council.
2. That the exterior of the accessory structure be constructed with a material that is
compatible to the principal building and approved by the City Planner before a building
permit is issued.
3. That a Grading and Erosion Control Permit shall be obtained by the applicant and
approved by the City before a Building Permit is issued.
4. That the applicant shall apply for a building permit prior to any construction.
Mayor Grant asked for comments or questions from the Council.
Councilmember Holden asked if the semi-trailer located to the rear of the property would remain
on site.
City Planner Streff indicated that he was unaware that a semi-trailer was located on the property.
Councilmember Holden questioned if the cement board would be painted.
City Planner Streff stated that the cement board would be painted in a dark gray color.
Nathaniel Cote, representative for the applicant, explained the cement board would be painted to
match the garage doors to provide a consistent color on the entire building.
MOTION: Councilmember McClung moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a
motion to approve Planning Case #13-019 for a Site Plan Review and
Permanent Accessory Structure at 4105 Lexington Avenue North, based on
the findings of fact and the submitted plans as amended by the four (4)
conditions in the March 10,2014, report to the City Council.
Councilmember McClung thanked the applicant for providing the City with a better solution for
the proposed structure on the site.
Mayor Grant agreed.
The motion carried (5-0).
10.
