With this new machine we will need to install an addi <br />double walled storage tank. This tank will store ink and solven <br />printing process and is needed to house excess waste from the new machine. <br /> <br />We are requesting a Planned Unit Development Amendment so that we may in <br />of our building. We currently have 4 similar tanks installed on, two 3,000 gallon tanks <br />housing new clean solvent, one 2,500 gallon tank housing recycled solvent, and one 2,500 gallon tank <br />housing ink and solvent waste. The additional tank will be installed within the existing con <br />containment curbing which can hold 100 percent of the contents of the largest tank p The tank <br />will be plumbed into our existing closed loop system using double walled The tank is to be <br />placed within the existing 7 foot tall tan colored fence. The proposed tank and containment are in <br />compliance with MPCA regulations regarding above ground storage tanks and will be registered with the <br />MPCA before being put into use. The tank will be placed horizontally behind the existing tanks <br />approximately 7 feet from the outside wall of the building. The tank capacity is 2,500 gallons and is 64 <br />tall by 15 long by 40. The tank is 100% steel and is to be painted white. Hood Packaging Corporation <br />is licensed by Ramsey County as a large quantity hazardous waste generator.
