Those projects are:

Mounds View High School Trail Connection
- Ramsey County Parks and Recreation
and the Mounds View School District have no identified funding for this trail. The
County and School District should be consulted as partners in this project. The bridge
on Lake Valentine Road is scheduled to be completed in 2016. The City staff will
propose that this trail should be completed in that same time period. In addition, the
staff is considering proposing that a trail on Lake Valentine from Glenview/Crystal to
Mounds View High School be done as well.

County Road E Trail
The City applied for TAP Funding for a trail on County Road E
from the Country Insurance Building to Old Highway 10. The City was not successful in
being awarded funding and finished in the middle of the projects in scoring. Bethel is a
partner on this segment and staff is proposing Council consider completing this segment
in 2015 when the bridge is replaced.

Old Highway 10/Old Snelling
- The City applied for TAP funding for a trail on Old
Highway 10/Old Snelling from Lake Valentine Road to County Road E. As stated
above, the City was not selected for funding. The staff will be proposing that a portion
of that segment be completed by 2017 (from the Bethel University entrance to County
Road E) as Bethel and the City are partnering on that trail.

Requested Action

Staff is asking for the PTRC to review the proposed Capital Improvement Program (CIP)
Projects for 2015-2019 and give feedback on any changes or potential additions.
22
Page of
