<br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: May 12, 2014 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />TO:Honorable Mayor and City Council Members <br /> <br /> <br />FROM: Patrick Klaers, City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Round Lake <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />Congresswoman Betty McCollum scheduled a Round Lake briefing on April 22, 2014. <br />This meeting was held at City Hall. Mayor Grant and Council Members Werner and <br />Holden, Senator Scalze, Representative Yarusso, and representatives of the U.S. Fish and <br />Wildlife Services, the MPCA, and the EPA attended this briefing. <br /> <br />At the April 28, 2014, City Council meeting, staff was directed to put Round Lake on this <br />th <br />May 19 work session agenda for a Council discussion. <br /> <br />Attached for your information are: <br />1.) the Summary Notes from the 5/16/11 City Council Round Lake discussion, <br />2.) the Updated (Draft) August 6, 2013 Round Lake Conceptual Management <br />Plan from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and <br />nd <br />3.) the Summary Notes from the April 22 briefing. <br />(Please note that the summary notes were drafted by City staff and are not an official <br />record of the meetings.) <br /> <br />
