STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RESOLUTION No. 81- 50 <br />A RESOLUTION VACATING THE SERVICE DRIVE ADJACENT TO <br />HAMLINE AVENUE NORTH LYING SOUTH OF THE WESTERLY <br />TERNTINUS OF TILLER LANE <br />WHEREAS, the Arden Hills City Council by Resolution No. <br />81-39, adopted on June 8, 1981, initiated a proceeding under <br />Section 412.851 of Minnesota Statutes, as amended, to determine <br />whether it would be in the public interest to vacate that portion <br />of the service drive adjacent to Hamline Avenue North which lies <br />south of the westerly terminus of Tiller Lane as more particu- <br />larly described hereinafter, and <br />WHEREAS, the Clerk-Administrator of the City of Arden <br />Hills published in the New Brighton Bulletin on July 2 and 9, <br />1981 a Notice of Public Hearir.g on the aforesaid proposed <br />vacation and also caused copies of said Notice of Public Hearing <br />to be posted for a period of at least two (2) weeks, commencing <br />June 30, 1981, at the Arden Hills City Hall, the Ramsey County <br />Library, Arden Hills Branch, on County Road E-2, and on the <br />bulletin board at the concession stand in Tony Schmidt Park, <br />three of the most public places in the City of Arden Hills, and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing before the City Council was <br />conducted on Monday, July 27, 1981 commencing at 7:37 o'clock <br />P.M., and <br />WHEREAS, no one appeared to oppose the proposed vacation, <br />and Mr. Ronald L. Christianson, one of the abutting property <br />owners, voiced his approval of the proposed vacation, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council <br />of the City of Arden Hills that it is in the public interest of <br />the City of Arden Hills to vacate that part of said service road <br />which is hereinafter described: <br />That part of the 40 foot wide service drive <br />dedicated in Josephine Hills Plat No. 2 which lies <br />southerly of the westerly extension of the North <br />line of Lot 4, Block 8, Josephine Hills Plat No. 2 <br />and adjacent to the west line of said Lot 4. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk-Administrator is <br />hereby authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this <br />Resolution to be recorded in the office of the Ramsey County <br />Recorder and to prepare and cause to be presented to the Land <br />Records Division of the Ramsey County Department of Property <br />Taxation and recorded in the office of said County Recorder a <br />Notice of Completion of Vacation Proceeding as required by <br />Section 412.�51 of Minnesota Statutes, as amended. <br />
