STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF RAMSEY CITY OF ARDEN HILLS RESOLUTION No. 81- 50 A RESOLUTION VACATING THE SERVICE DRIVE ADJACENT TO HAMLINE AVENUE NORTH LYING SOUTH OF THE WESTERLY TERNTINUS OF TILLER LANE WHEREAS, the Arden Hills City Council by Resolution No. 81-39, adopted on June 8, 1981, initiated a proceeding under Section 412.851 of Minnesota Statutes, as amended, to determine whether it would be in the public interest to vacate that portion of the service drive adjacent to Hamline Avenue North which lies south of the westerly terminus of Tiller Lane as more particu- larly described hereinafter, and WHEREAS, the Clerk-Administrator of the City of Arden Hills published in the New Brighton Bulletin on July 2 and 9, 1981 a Notice of Public Hearir.g on the aforesaid proposed vacation and also caused copies of said Notice of Public Hearing to be posted for a period of at least two (2) weeks, commencing June 30, 1981, at the Arden Hills City Hall, the Ramsey County Library, Arden Hills Branch, on County Road E-2, and on the bulletin board at the concession stand in Tony Schmidt Park, three of the most public places in the City of Arden Hills, and WHEREAS, a public hearing before the City Council was conducted on Monday, July 27, 1981 commencing at 7:37 o'clock P.M., and WHEREAS, no one appeared to oppose the proposed vacation, and Mr. Ronald L. Christianson, one of the abutting property owners, voiced his approval of the proposed vacation, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills that it is in the public interest of the City of Arden Hills to vacate that part of said service road which is hereinafter described: That part of the 40 foot wide service drive dedicated in Josephine Hills Plat No. 2 which lies southerly of the westerly extension of the North line of Lot 4, Block 8, Josephine Hills Plat No. 2 and adjacent to the west line of said Lot 4. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk-Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the office of the Ramsey County Recorder and to prepare and cause to be presented to the Land Records Division of the Ramsey County Department of Property Taxation and recorded in the office of said County Recorder a Notice of Completion of Vacation Proceeding as required by Section 412.�51 of Minnesota Statutes, as amended.
