Notice <br />Although a variance does not require a public hearing, apublic meeting notice was prepared by <br />the City and mailed to properties within three-hundred fifty (350) feet of the subject property. <br />Resident Comment <br />The City has not received any comments from surrounding residents in regards tothis planning <br />case. <br />Scott Yonke from Ramsey County Parks and Recreation Department did contact staff about the <br />project. Mr. Yonke informed staff that after reviewing the proposal the County would have no <br />objections to the plan; however, they did have concerns about grading and wanted the applicant <br />to be aware that no grading, retaining walls or other structures will be allowed on the County’s <br />property. <br />Deadline for Agency Actions <br />The City of Arden Hills received the completed application for this request on April 7, 2014. <br />Pursuant to Minnesota State Statute, the City must act on this request by June 6, 2014(60 days), <br />unless the City provides the petitioner with written reasons for an additional 60-day review <br />period.
