ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL MAY 12, 20142 <br /> <br />Community Development Director Hutmacher <br /> stated that on May 1, 2014, Ramsey County <br />received four proposals for the development and design of on-site infrastructure (the <br /> have been held, and a consultant team will <br />be chosen in time to allow work to proceed before the end of this month. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Hutmacher <br /> reported that the demolition of the final <br />remaining building on the TCAAP site, Building 502, is scheduled to occur on June 6, 2014. <br />Work on soil remediation and removal of building pads and footings continues. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Hutmacher <br /> indicated that public comments on the draft <br />AUAR and Mitigation Plan are being accepted until May 28, 2014. The City Council is tentatively <br />scheduled to review the final document on June 30, 2014, with approval in July. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Hutmacher <br /> explained that the City submitted a Project <br />Concept Plan, which is essentially a pre-application, able <br />Communities Demonstration Account (LCDA) on May 1, 2014. The application includes a <br />request for $1,605,000 in Livable Community Act (LCA) funds for sidewalks and trails, lighting, <br />landscaping, site preparation and grading, and architecture and engineering for public <br />improvements in the TCAAP North Gateway Area which extends from the entrance to the site at <br />I-35W/County Road H south through the town square. By June 2, 2014, the Metropolitan Council <br />will notify the City if it will be invited to submit a full application. The deadline for the full <br />application is June 30, 2014. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Hutmacher <br />reported that special and regular City Council <br />work sessions have been scheduled to discuss issues related to the Master Plan and City <br />infrastructure. Discussion topics are tentatively planned as follows: <br /> <br />May 19, 2014, Regular Work Session at 5:00 pm; Council Chambers <br /> <br />Ramsey County Financial Model <br /> <br />Residential Development and Densities <br /> <br />Flex Space Land Use Discussion <br /> <br />May 27, 2014, (Tuesday), Special Work Session at 5:30 pm, Community Room <br /> <br />I-35W/Highway 96 Interchange Discussion <br /> <br />June 16, 2014, Regular Work Session at 5:00 pm, Council Chambers <br /> <br />Review Revised Master Plan <br /> <br />Review Aesthetics for I-35W Bridges <br /> <br />June 30, 2014, Special Work Session at 5:30 pm, Community Room <br /> <br />Review Final AUAR and Mitigation Plan <br /> <br />June 30, 2014, Regular Meeting at 7:00 pm, Council Chambers <br /> <br />Approve Master Plan <br /> <br />Municipal Consent for I-35W/Highway 96 <br /> <br />
