ATTACHMENT B <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2014-036 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE 2014 SEAL COAT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />pursuant to advertisement for bids for the 2014 Seal Coat Improvement <br />Project, bids were received, opened, and tabulated according to the law; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS <br /> , it appears that Pearson Brothers, Inc., Hanover, Minnesota, is the <br />lowest responsible bidder, <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN <br />HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />: <br /> <br /> <br />1.The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with Pearson Brothers, Inc., for a total cost of $97,207.53 in the name of the City <br />of Arden Hills for the above improvements according to the plans and specifications <br />thereof on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br /> <br /> <br />2.The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the <br />deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the <br />next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed. <br /> <br />ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS 14th <br />DAY OF JULY, 2014. <br /> <br />____________________________________ <br />David Grant, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />_______________________________________ <br />Amy Dietl, City Clerk <br /> <br />
