NEW BUSINESS –8B <br />Options <br />1.Approve the proposal as submitted. <br />2.Approve the proposal with conditions (Recommended Action). <br />3.Deny the application with reasons for denial. <br />4.Table for additional information. <br />Notice <br />Although a variance does not require a public hearing, a public meeting notice was prepared by <br />the City and mailed to properties within three-hundred fifty (350) feet of the subject property. <br />Deadline for Agency Actions <br />The City of Arden Hills received the completed application for this request on May 5, 2014. <br />Pursuant to Minnesota State Statute, the City was required to act on this request by July 4, 2014 <br />(60 days), unless the City provided the petitioner with written reasons for an additional 60-day <br />review period. <br />The petitioner was notified on June 9, 2014, of the City’s request for an additional 60-day review <br />period. Pursuant to Minnesota State Statute, the City must now act on this request by September <br />2, 2014 (120 days).
