<br />The City of Arden Hills and Ramsey County are also interested in bringing additional transit options to the <br />Snelling Avenue from Minneapolis to Roseville (Rosedale Center) will be open for service in 2015. A future <br />extension of the A Line from Rosedale Center to the TCAAP site is being studied by the Metropolitan <br />Council. <br />Existing Park and Ride Lots: <br />There are two existing park and ride stations along CR H. The following sections include summaries of the information included in that report. <br />Traffic Forecasts <br />The No Build Year 2030 background traffic forecasts were previously prepared for the Draft TCAAP <br />Redevelopment. Figure T10 (Appendix D) shows the peak hour turning movement volumes. Traffic <br />forecasts for the year 2030 that include the AUAR study area traffic were developed by adding the AUAR <br />study area generated trips to the future year 2030 background traffic forecasts. Project specific trip <br />generation estimates for the AM and PM peak periods were calculated for each proposed development <br />scenario based on the proposed land use type and size. Trip generation rates from the 9th Edition of the <br />Institute of Transportation Engineers Trip Generation were used to calculate development-generated traffic. <br />A number of assumptions were made related to internal trip capture (trips that are made on-site between the <br />various proposed uses), pass-by trips (trips already existing within the AUAR study area that make use of <br />the proposed AUAR study area development land uses), and mode split (trips by transit, walking, or biking). <br />The trip reductions were based on typical rates found in the general project area, United States Census <br />data, and commuter surveys that showed a reduction of approximately 15 percent of trips due to transit, <br />multi-use, pass-by and internal capture rates. <br /> <br /> <br />July 2014 Final AUAR 29 <br />
