The facility mustconform to all applicable rules, regulations and laws of state, <br />local or other jurisdictions. <br />Multiple-Unit Dwellings (MUDs): <br />3.22A building or a portion thereof containing five or <br />more dwelling units. <br />Multiple Unit Dwelling (MUD) Recycling Containers: <br />3.23Recycling containers used for <br />multiple unit dwellings (MUDs) including any cart, cart, dumpster or other receptacle for <br />temporary storage and collection of designated recyclables from residents in MUDs prior <br />to collection. <br />Multiple Unit Dwelling (MUD) Recycling Service: <br />3.24Recycling collection service, <br />together with related public education and other customer services. <br />Non-Targeted Materials: <br />3.25Materials that are not included in the City’s recycling program. <br />Examples of typical non-targeted items currently include (but are not limited to): pumps <br />on plastic bottles, ceramic material, etc. <br />Organics: <br />3.26Shall have the meaning set forth in Minnesota Statutes andMinnesota <br />Pollution Control Agency Rules for materials that: (1) are separated at the source by <br />waste generators for the purpose of preparing them for use as compost; (2) are collected <br />City of Arden Hills, Recycling RFP <br />October 2014 <br />Page 6 <br />
