The Certificate of Insurance shall name the City as an additional insured, and state that the <br />Contractor’s coverage shall be the primary coverage in the event of a loss. <br />ACertificate of Vehicle Liability Insurance willbe required in the amount of at least $2,000,000. <br />ACertificate of Professional Liability Insurance or Errors & Omissions Insurance providing <br />coverage for 1) the claims that arise from the errors or omissions of the Contractor or its sub- <br />contractors and 2) the negligence or failure to render a professional service by the Contractor or <br />its sub-contractorswill be required. The insurance policy should provide coverage in the <br />amount of $1,000,000 each occurrence and $1,000,000 annual aggregate. The insurance policy <br />must provide the protection stated for two years after completion of the work. Acceptance of the <br />insurance by the City shall not relieve, limit or decrease the liability of the Contractor. <br />Environmental liability insurance in compliance with local, state and federal regulations for all <br />matters related to therecycling services agreementwill be required. The policy coverage shall <br />include Environmental Impairment Liability. <br />Workers Compensation <br />8.2 <br />Evidence of Workers Compensation insurance covering all employees of the Contractor <br />and subcontractors engaged in the performance of the Contract, in accordance with the <br />Minnesota Workers Compensation Lawshall be required. <br />Equal Opportunity <br />8.3 <br />During the performance ofthe executed contract compliance with Executive Order 11246, <br />as amended by Executive Order 11375 and Department of Labor Regulations 41CFR, Part <br />60will be required <br />Performance <br />8.4 <br />APerformanceBondas required by State Statute will be requiredto be fully executed and <br />approved by the City 30 daysprior to the start of the Contract. <br />Payment Bond <br />8.5 <br />A Payment Bondas required by State Statute will be required to be fully executed and <br />approved by the City 30 daysprior to the start of the Contract. <br />Conflict ofInterest <br />8.6 <br />No member, officer, or employee of the City shall have any interest, direct or indirect, in <br />the executed contract or the proceeds thereof.
