DRAFT August 13, 2014 <br />Building Step-Back <br />Building step-back is the setting back of the building façade line away from the street at a <br />specific floor or height. <br />Illustration of a Building Step-Back <br /> <br />C D <br />Commercial Use or Mixed-Use Building <br />A building in which at least the ground floor of the building is b <br />standards and any of the floors are occupied by non-residential or residential uses. <br />Commercial Ready <br />A ground floor space constructed with appropriate building orientation, entrance and window <br />treatment and floor-to-ceiling height in order to accommodate ground floor retail/commercial <br />uses (including, but not limited to, commercial, retail, restaurant, entertainment, and lobbies for <br />civic, hotel, or multi-family uses).
