CONSENT ITEM – 5C <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Page 1 of 1 <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: August 11, 2014 <br /> <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br /> Patrick Klaers, City Administrator <br /> <br />FROM: John Anderson, Assistant City Engineer <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Gateway 2nd Addition – Closing Documents <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Requested Action <br /> <br />Approve Resolution 2014-039 Dispensing with Statutory Requirements for Review by <br />Planning Commission of Disposal of Real Property, Approval of Deed to Real Property, <br />Approval of Acquisition of Trail Easement, Approval of Easement Termination. <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />The City Council approved the Gateway 2nd Addition Plat on April 28, 2014, and requested <br />that the City Attorney file and record the plat with Ramsey County. The City Attorney has <br />been working to assemble the necessary documents to file the final plat of Gateway 2nd <br />Addition. As a result of that effort, and in order to proceed with recording the plat, the City <br />Attorney has determined it is necessary for the City Council to approve a number of <br />housekeeping items related to the plat. Those items have been combined into the attached <br />resolution.
