The Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval of this case
5-0 at their meeting on May 7, 2014.

The City Council also reviewed Planning Case 14-014 for a variance at 1850 Venus Avenue to
construct a garage addition that would encroach thirty feet into the secondary front yard setback.
A motion to table this request was approved and the applicant was instructed to revise their plans
for the addition in order to reduce the overall encroachment into the required setback area. At
the Planning Commission meeting on May 7, 2014, the Commission recommended approval of
this case 5-1 (Holewa opposed).
