Page 1 of 1 <br /> <br />DATE: November 10, 2014 <br /> <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br />Patrick Klaers, City Administrator <br /> <br />FROM: Sue Iverson, Director of Finance and Administrative Services <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Authorization to Advertise for the Position of Recreation Programmer <br /> <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />On November 6, 2014, the Personnel Committee met to discuss the positions in the Recreation <br />Department and possible changes to the Park and Recreation Manager position. As a result of <br />this meeting, The Personnel Committee recommended to the City Council a new job description <br />changing the Park and Recreation Manger position to a Recreation Coordinator and to have Sara <br />Grant, our current Recreation Programmer who has been performing these duties , fill this <br />position. This leaves the Recreation Programmer position vacant. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />In order to fill the position as timely as possible to keep work processes flowing in Recreation <br />with minimal interruption of programming, service and work, we would like to advertise to fill <br />this vacancy. <br /> <br /> <br />Council Action <br /> <br />Authorize staff to advertise for a Recreation Programmer. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA – 5J <br /> <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br />
