<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2014 <br />6:30 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY HALL <br /> <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Vice Chair Roberta Thompson called to order the regular <br />Planning Commission meeting at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Present were: Vice Chair Roberta Thompson, Commissioners Angela Hames, Andrew Holewa, <br />Steven Jones, and Clayton Zimmerman. <br /> <br />Absent: Chair Clayton Larson and Commissioner Brent Bartel. <br />Also present were: Community Development Director Jill Hutmacher; City Planner Ryan Streff; <br />Associate Planner Matthew Bachler; and Councilmember Fran Holmes. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA – OCTOBER 8, 2014 <br /> <br />Vice Chair Thompson stated the agenda will stand as published. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS <br /> <br />A. Resignation of Samuel Scott <br /> <br />Associate Planner Bachler stated that on September 11, 2014, Samuel Scott submitted his official <br />resignation as a member of the Planning Commission. Within his resignation, Mr. Scott stated that <br />he was resigning as a result of a change in his work schedule. Mr. Scott has served on the <br />Commission since 2010, and his current term was set to expire on December 31, 2016. As stated in <br />the City ordinance the vacant commission position will resume with the term of the resigning <br />commission member. Staff reported that during the Regular City Council meeting on September 29, <br />2014, the Council approved the resignation of Samuel Scott from the Arden Hills Planning <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Vice Chair Thompson explained that the Planning Commission had two alternate position <br />vacancies. Any residents interested in serving were encouraged to view the City’s website or contact <br />City Hall. <br /> <br />B. Appointment of Steven Jones
