Corridor monument <br />signs can be up to 150 square feet in area and 12 feet in height. <br /> <br />Regulations have been added that would limit the total area of corridor monument signs to no <br />more than 1.5 times the permitted sign copy area of a sign. This requirement will help to reduce <br />the size of the base used for a monument sign. Corridor monument signs are permitted a copy <br />area 0.7 square feet for each linear foot of street frontage with a maximum of 150 square feet. <br />The height of the sign is capped at 12 feet. The table below helps illustrate the overall permitted <br />dimensions of a corridor monument sign based on this standard: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The ratio used to allocate wall signage for single tenant commercial, office, and institutional <br />buildings has been revised to increase the amount of permitted signage. Previously, the amount <br />of wall signage allowed was determined by calculating 15% of the length of the façade for <br />properties with highway frontages and 12% of the length of the façade for all other frontages. <br />This ratio has been changed to 15% of the total façade area for highway frontages and 10% of <br />the total façade area for all other frontages. The maximum area of 200 square feet per highway <br />frontage and 150 square feet per non-highway frontage has remained unchanged.
