,ARQEN HILLS <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2014-061 <br /> A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE VENUS/CRYSTAL NEIGHBORHOOD <br /> FEASIBILITY REPORT AND ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING FOR IMPROVEMENT <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 2014-041 of the Council adopted September 8, <br /> 2014, a report has been prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the improvement of the <br /> following streets: <br /> Venus Avenue from Rolling Hills Road to Dellview Avenue <br /> Glenview Avenue from Fairview Avenue to Lake Valentine Road <br /> Gramsie Road from Rolling Hills Road to Dellview Avenue <br /> Fairview Avenue from Gramsie Road to Venus Avenue <br /> Dellview Avenue from Venus Avenue to Crystal Avenue <br /> Crystal Avenue from Fairview Avenue to Lake Valentine Road <br /> Glenview Court from Glenview Avenue to cul-de-sac <br /> and this report was received by the Council on December 8, 2014; and <br /> WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br /> necessary, cost effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made as proposed or in <br /> connection with some other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvement as <br /> recommended; and a description of the methodology used to calculate individual assessments for <br /> affected parcels. <br /> NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN <br /> HILLS MINNESOTA: <br /> 1. The council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with the <br /> report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the <br /> improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost <br /> of the improvement of$3,963,770. <br /> 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 12th day of <br /> January, 2015, in the council chambers of the city hall at 7:00 p.m. and the City <br /> Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and <br /> improvement as required by law. <br />
