Pedestrian-Friendly <br />Frontages are designated on the Regulating Plan. <br />iii. General Frontages – General Frontages are intended to accommodate more <br />auto-oriented uses, surface parking and service functions on a site with a more <br />suburban/automobile orientation. The General Frontages shall be building <br />frontages not designated as either a Pedestrian Priority or Pedestrian-Friendly <br />Frontage on the Regulating Plan. Surface parking shall be screened following the <br />Street Screen Standards in Section 10.3. <br /> <br />Graphic Illustrating the <br />Application of Street <br />Type Designation <br />Based on the <br />Development Context <br />(b) Treatment of Street Intersections: <br />i. Corner building street facades along intersections of Pedestrian Priority Frontages <br />and Pedestrian-Friendly Frontages shall be built to the BTZ for a minimum of 20’ <br />from the intersection along each street or the width of the corner lot, whichever is <br />less regardless of the building frontage percentage required along that street. <br />This requirement shall not prohibit incorporation of curved, chamfered building <br />corners or recessed entries or civic/open spaces at such intersections. In addition, <br />this standard shall apply regardless of the frontage requirement along the <br />intersecting street even if it is a General Street.
