ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL—NOVEMBER 10, 2014 7 <br /> 9. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> None. <br /> 10. COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilmember Werner stated he and his wife attended a recent AARP driving class at City <br /> Hall and that the class was well done. <br /> Councilmember Holden asked if the City received a recent charge from the Met Council for <br /> I&I exceedances. <br /> Public Works Director Maurer reported the City did have an exceedance in June of this year. <br /> The MCES has issued a surcharge to the City of this exceedance. He provided comment on the <br /> I&I improvements planned for 2015. <br /> Councilmember Holmes discussed the recent Met Council newsletter the Council received <br /> which included an article explaining funding that was available for trails. She questioned if the <br /> City had anyone currently on staff that could apply for the grant funding. <br /> Public Works Director Maurer explained grant opportunities would be reviewed by either <br /> himself and/or Assistant City Engineer Anderson. <br /> Mayor Grant commented last Saturday he attended and spoke at the Welcome Home Solider <br /> Ceremony which welcomed home the Army National Guard 203rd Technical Operations group. <br /> He explained this group spent one year in Afghanistan and he was proud of their efforts. <br /> ADJOURN <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember McClung seconded a <br /> motion to adiourn. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> Mayor Grant adjourned the regular City Council meeting at 8:13 p.m. <br /> Amy ietl David Grant <br /> City Clerk Mayor <br />
