It <br /> EN HILLS <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2014-057 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING <br /> ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR THE COUNTY ROAD E (B-2 DISTRICT) <br /> IMPROVEMENTS <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 2014-019 adopted on March 31, 2014, plans and <br /> specifications have been prepared for the improvement of the County Road E (B-2 District). <br /> And such plans and specifications have been submitted to the City Council for approval. <br /> THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN <br /> HILLS, MINNESOTA: <br /> 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto, and made a <br /> part hereof, are hereby approved. <br /> 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in a trade journal, the <br /> official newspaper, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such <br /> improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The <br /> advertisement shall be published as required by law, shall specify the work to <br /> be done, shall state the date and time that the bids will be received by the City <br /> Clerk and City Engineer at which time they will be publicly opened in the <br /> Arden Hills City Hall by the City Engineer, will then be tabulated, and will <br /> subsequently be considered by the Council. No bids will be considered unless <br /> sealed and filed with the Administrator and accompanied by a cash deposit, <br /> certified check or bid bond payable to the City of Arden Hills for five percent <br /> (5%) of the amount of such bid. <br /> ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> THIS 24th DAY OF NOVEMBER, 2014. <br /> David Grant, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Amy Dietl, City Clerk <br />
