Page 2 of 2 <br /> <br />Staff has informed MnDOT Municipal State Aid staff that the City may be needing an advance <br />in 2015. Staff has been informed by MnDOT that sufficient funds should be available in the <br />MSA Street Fund to accommodate the requested advance and the City should forward the <br />required Resolution as soon as possible. It should be noted, submitting the attached Resolution <br />only puts the City in line to receive an MSA Street Fund advance. The decision whether or not <br />to request advanced funds for each of the projects noted above still lies with the City Council. <br />Funds are not advances to the City until a formal MSA project specific funding request is <br />submitted for each project. As noted in the Resolution, funds are advanced on a first come basis <br />for cities on that year’s list. <br /> <br />One final note, an update on the City’s MSA system is scheduled for the February 9th Work <br />Session. <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> <br />Attachment A: Resolution 2015-006
