ARDEN HILLS SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION—FEBRUARY 23, 2015 2 <br /> Public Works Director Maurer reported that the Code would require the installation of barrier <br /> style concrete curb and gutter. <br /> Councilmember Woodburn requested further information on how the TCAAP site would be <br /> graded and asked if additional soil could be brought in. <br /> Public Works Director Maurer explained how the site would be graded according to approved <br /> plans. He noted that up to 50 yards of soil can be brought in to individual lots without a grading <br /> permit. <br /> Mayor Pro-Tem McClung encouraged the Council to keep the TRC uniform with other zoning <br /> requirements throughout the City. <br /> Public Works Director Maurer explained that staff would continue to work on this document <br /> and would bring it back before the Council for further review and approval. <br /> 2. COUNCIL COMMENTS AND STAFF UPDATES <br /> Public Works Director Maurer reported that he has been in conversation with Fourth <br /> Dimension regarding the gateway sign at Cleveland/County Road D. He noted that the sign <br /> would be removed and repainted Arden Hills tan and the logo color changed to green. In addition, <br /> staff received a proposal to change the brick, which would cost the City approximately $2,200. <br /> Mayor Pro-Tem McClung was ambivalent regarding this matter. <br /> Councilmember Holden stated that she missed the meeting at which this gateway sign was <br /> previously discussed. <br /> Public Works Director Maurer stated that he would ask Fourth Dimension for brick color <br /> samples and bring them to an upcoming work session for further consideration. <br /> City Administrator Klaers reviewed the proposed agenda for the February 24th special City <br /> Council work session agenda. <br /> ADJOURN <br /> Mayor Pro-Tem McClung adjourned the special City Council work session at 6:56 p.m. <br /> Amy Dietl ave McClung <br /> City Clerk Mayor Pro-Tem <br />
