MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: May 6, 2015 PC Agenda Item 4.A <br /> <br />TO: Planning Commission <br /> <br />FROM: Matthew Bachler, Associate Planner <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Report from the City Council <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />April 13, 2015, City Council Regular Meeting <br /> <br />The City Council approved (3-2, McClung and Woodburn opposed) the remaining land use <br />requests in Planning Case 15-002 relating to the expansion of the Frattallone’s Ace Hardware <br />seasonal garden center at 3527 Lexington Avenue North. The City Council previously approved <br />the requests for a Preliminary Plat and a PUD Amendment in Planning Case 15-002 on March <br />30, 2015. This case was reviewed by the Planning Commission on February 4, 2015, and <br />received a recommendation for approval (4-2, Bartel and Zimmerman opposed). <br /> <br /> <br />April 27, 2015, City Council Regular Meeting <br /> <br />The City Council approved (5-0) Planning Case 15-006 for a Conditional Use Permit for the <br />existing restaurant use and the proposed deck addition at 4703 U.S. Highway 10 (Big Ten <br />Supper Club). The Planning Commission reviewed Planning Case 15-006 on April 8, 2015, and <br />recommended approval (6-1, Holewa opposed) of this request. <br /> <br />The City Council also approved (5-0) Planning Case 15-007 for amendments to the Zoning <br />Ordinance, Subdivision Ordinance, and Erosion and Sediment Control Ordinance. The purpose <br />of these text amendments was to bring the City Code into compliance with the Federal Clean <br />Water Act and the State General Stormwater Discharge Permit requirements.
