<br />City of Arden Hills <br />City Planning Commission Meeting for February 4, 2015 <br /> <br />Page 1 of 1 <br /> <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: February 4, 2015 PC Agenda Item 3.A <br /> <br />TO: Planning Commission <br /> <br />FROM: Ryan Streff, City Planner <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Planning Commission Appointment <br /> <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />Phillip Neururer submitted an application to be considered for appointment on the Planning <br />Commission. Consistent with the City’s policy on commission and committee appointments, <br />Mr. Neururer was interviewed by a panel consisting of the Mayor, the Chair of the Planning <br />Commission, the Council Liaison to the Planning Commission, and the staff Liaison to the <br />Planning Commission. <br /> <br />The interview panel agreed after meeting with Mr. Neururer that he would be a valuable addition <br />to the Planning Commission based on his interview, his qualifications, and his past work <br />experiences. <br /> <br /> <br />City Council Action <br /> <br />During the Regular City Council meeting on January 12, 2015, the Council unanimously <br />approved the recommendation of the Planning Commission Liaison to appoint Mr. Neururer as a <br />regular member of the Planning Commission.
