ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL—MAY 11, 2015 8
Councilmember Holmes requested that proclamations not be put on consent but read during
Public and Informational sections.
Mayor Grant understood that Stacie's availability has been limited. He was in favor of
reviewing this memo further. He recommended that staff speak with Ms. Kvilvang in order to
arrange for her to attend an upcoming work session.
Councilmember McClung thanked Public Works Director Maurer and the entire public works
staff for the work they complete for the residents of Arden Hills. He noted that a letter of congratulations was sent to
her and the City received a response. He read this response in full for the record.
Mayor Grant noticed a rock at the County Road E2 Gateway sign has been placed in front of the
light base.
Public Works Director Maurer reported that the rock was put in its new location to hide the
light and wooden base.
Mayor Grant indicated that two years ago, a street repair was made in the Cannon/Tiller
neighborhood due to the fact the street was delaminating and a selective mill and overlay was
completed.
