NEW BUSINESS – 8A <br /> <br />City of Arden Hills <br />City Coucil Meeting for July 13, 2015 <br /> <br />P:\Planning\Planning Cases\2015\PC 15-015 - TCAAP CPA & TRC\Memos_Reports <br />Page 7 of 8 <br />Public Hearing Comments <br /> <br />Written comments from Andy Holewa (4480 Pleasant Drive) were received by staff requesting <br />that additional language be added to the TRC regarding energy sustainability and that the Energy <br />Integration Resiliency Framework (EIRF) be added as an attachment to the TRC. Mr. Holewa <br />also stated that additional park space should be added to the Plan to adequately support the <br />expected population in the town neighborhood. Mr. Holewa’s written comments have been <br />provided in Attachment M. <br /> <br />The City received written comments from Lyle Salmela (1480 Arden Vista Court) in regards to <br />building design standards, utilities, and the Palette of Open Space Types in the TRC along with a <br />recommend change to Chapter 12 of the City’s Comprehensive Plan. Mr. Salmela also <br />addressed the Planning Commission during the public hearing to voice his concerns as stated in <br />his written comments. The comments provided by Mr. Salmela have been provided in <br />Attachment M. <br /> <br />Ramsey County Commissioner Jim McDonough addressed the Planning Commission during the <br />public hearing for the Comprehensive Plan Amendment, Rezoning, and TCAAP Redevelopment <br />Code. Commissioner McDonough provided the Commission with a letter outlining concerns <br />expressed by the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners. A copy of this letter has been <br />included in Attachment M. <br /> <br />Jim Ostlund (1576 Royal Hills Drive) commented that additional flexibility is needed within the <br />TRC.
