,-SRZEN�HILLS <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2015-037 <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br /> FOR TCAAP PROPERTY <br /> WHEREAS, the Arden Hills 2030 Comprehensive Plan was officially approved in <br /> September of 2009; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council considered approval of a Comprehensive Plan <br /> Amendment in order to rezone the approximately 427 acre portion of the Twin Cities Army <br /> Ammunition Plant (TCAAP) property owned by Ramsey County and to adopt the TCAAP <br /> Redevelopment Code (TRC) on July 13, 2015; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan Amendment and related approvals would <br /> change the land use designations on the TCAAP property from Mixed Business and Mixed <br /> Residential to Neighborhood Residential, Neighborhood Transition, Town Center, Campus <br /> Commercial, Retail Mixed-Use, Office Mixed-Use, Flex Office, Public and Institutional, <br /> Utility, and Parks and Open Space; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City's Future Land Use Map would be amended to re-designate the <br /> property to reflect the changes in land use classifications; and <br /> WHEREAS, the chapters and appendixes that pertain to this amendment would be <br /> updated to ensure compatibility with the TCAAP Master Plan; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden <br /> Hills, Minnesota, that the proposed Comprehensive Plan Amendment for the TCAAP <br /> property are approved subject to review by the Metropolitan Council pursuant to Minnesota <br /> Statutes §473.864: <br /> ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> THIS 13"DAY OF JULY,2015. <br /> 1 J- A <br /> ATTEST: David Grant,Mayor <br /> Amy Dietl, Cid Clerk <br />
