ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL—JULY 27, 2015 3 <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Woodburn seconded a <br /> motion to approve the Consent Calendar as presented and to authorize <br /> execution of all necessary documents contained therein. The motion carried <br /> unanimously (3-0). <br /> 6. PULLED CONSENT ITEMS <br /> None. <br /> 7. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> None. <br /> 8. NEW BUSINESS <br /> None. <br /> 9. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> A. City Administrator Recruitment Process <br /> Director of Finance and Administrative Services Iverson explained that the City Council <br /> accepted City Administrator Klaers' resignation effective October 2, 2015, at its June 29th <br /> meeting. She reported that the Personnel Committee met on June 30th and directed staff to receive <br /> proposals from two firms to assist with the City Administrator recruitment process. The City <br /> received two proposals which were reviewed by the Personnel Committee. The Personnel <br /> Committee is recommending that the Council enter into a contract with Korn Ferry not to exceed <br /> $25,500 for the recruitment of a City Administrator. <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Woodburn seconded a <br /> motion to enter into a contract with Korn Ferry not to exceed $25,500 for <br /> recruitment of a City Administrator. The motion carried (3-0). <br /> 10. COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilmember Holden noted that she would be out of town for Night to Unite which means <br /> that she will not be able to attend any of the neighborhood events in Arden Hills. <br /> Councilmember Woodburn discussed the City's Zoning Code with regard to antennas. He <br /> believed that the current language was quite confusing. He requested that staff review the <br /> language to eliminate the ambiguity. <br /> Associate Planner Bachler commented that staff will look at the existing provisions. <br /> Acting Mayor Pro-Tem Holmes indicated that she too will be out of town for Night to Unite. <br />
