The
relocation of the facility is needed in order to facilitate the planned interior remodel and
reconfiguration of the space within Building 9 to accommodate an expanded area for distribution
and final packaging. The new facility and expansion in Building 10 will allow the day care to
comply with current state regulations.

The existing day care within Building 9 has approximately 7,500 square feet of interior space
and includes a fenced outdoor play area of 2,400 square feet. The new facility proposed in
Building 10 includes 8,500 square feet of interior space and a 3,150 square foot fenced outdoor
play area. Three (3) infant rooms, two (2) toddler rooms, three (3) pre-school rooms, and an
indoor play area now required for muscle development will be constructed inside the new day
care facility. A new building entrance, sidewalk, stoop, and ramp will also be constructed to
provide direct access to the proposed day care facility.
