MODEL EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL ORDINANCE <br /> AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL FOR LAND <br /> DISTURBANCE ACTIVITY WITHIN THE CITY OF <br /> The City Council of the City of <br /> ordains: <br /> Section 1. 0. Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to <br /> control or eliminate soil erosion and sedimentation within the <br /> city of It establishes standards and <br /> specifications for conservation practices and planning activities <br /> which minimize soil erosion and sedimentation. <br /> Section 2 .0. Scope. Except as exempted by Section 3 . 6, any <br /> 0 person, firm, sole proprietorship, partnership, corporation, <br /> state agency or political subdivision thereof proposing land <br /> disturbance activity within the city of shall <br /> apply to the city for the approval of the erosion and sediment <br /> control plan. No land shall be disturbed until the plan is <br /> approved by the city and conforms to the standards set forth <br /> herein. <br /> Section 3 .0.
