( 11) Calculations - Any that were made for the design <br /> • of such items as sediment basins, diversions, <br /> waterways, and other applicable practices. <br /> Section -50. Ramsey County Erosion and Sediment. Control <br /> Handbook. The Handbook must be the reference for Erosion and <br /> Sediment Control Practice specifications used in the city of <br /> 5. 1. Approval. All erosion and sediment control practice <br /> specifications shall be approved and adopted by the District. <br /> 5. 2 . Variance. Where in the judgment of a Registered <br /> Professional Engineer experienced in the field of erosion and <br /> sediment control, site conditions warrant or where the Practices <br /> or Practice Standards, as contained in the Handbook, will be <br /> insufficient to., contro.l- erosion and_ sedimentation for a land <br /> disturbance activity, the District:.. Board.may grant a variance <br /> from the use of the Handbook on a_ case- by- case basis. The <br /> content of a variance shall be specific and _ shall not affect <br /> other approved provisions of a plan. <br /> 5. 3 . Variance Procedure. The procedure for obtaining a <br /> variance shall be outlined in the Ramsey County Erosion and <br /> Sediment Control Handbook. <br /> Section 6. 0. Review.
