As you <br /> may know, Rice Creek watershed encompasses 201 square miles of urban and rural land in the north <br /> metropolitan area, which includes 25 cities and 5 townships. Our mission is to protect and improve the <br /> waters of the District, prevent flooding and erosion, promote groundwater recharge, and protect fish <br /> and wildlife habitat and recreational uses. <br /> Part of my job is to provide public education through displays and presentations to various audiences <br /> within RCWD.
