<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Approved: August 10, 2015 <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />JULY 13, 2015 <br />7:00 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor David Grant called to order the regular City <br />Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor David Grant, Councilmembers Brenda Holden, Fran Holmes, Dave <br />McClung, and Robert Woodburn <br /> <br /> Absent: None <br /> <br /> Also present: City Administrator Patrick Klaers; City Attorney Joel Jamnik; Director of <br />Finance and Administrative Services Sue Iverson; Public Works Director Terry Maurer; <br />City Planner Ryan Streff; Associate Planner Matthew Bachler; and City Clerk Amy Dietl <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember McClung moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a <br />motion to approve the meeting agenda as presented. The motion carried <br />unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />2. PUBLIC INQUIRIES/INFORMATIONAL <br /> <br />Charlie Kachel, 1520 Arden Place, commented that he has been a resident of Arden Hills for 40 <br />years. He thanked City Administrator Klaers for his professional service to the City. He provided <br />comment on the road reconstruction projects occurring this summer. He discussed several sewer <br />backup concerns that have occurred in the Valentine Hills neighborhood. He encouraged the City <br />to address this concern while the street was dug up. <br /> <br />Public Works Director Maurer stated that backups in the past have been addressed during road <br />reconstruction projects. He indicated that some of these sewer lines were scheduled to be lined. <br /> <br />Mayor Grant thanked Mr. Kachel for bringing his comments forward. <br />
