ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL – JULY 13, 2015 11 <br /> <br />Mayor Grant questioned how the Council should proceed at this time. <br /> <br />City Attorney Jamnik advised how the items were linked and must be approved together. <br /> <br />Councilmember Woodburn appreciated all of the work the Council and staff had done on the <br />CPA and TRC. He requested that the Council reconsider the CPA motion at this time. <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Woodburn moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a <br />motion to reconsider Resolution 2015-037. The motion carried 4-1 (McClung <br />opposed). <br /> <br />RECONSIDERED MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember <br />Holmes seconded a motion to approve Resolution 2015-037, a resolution <br />adopting an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan for TCAAP property. <br />The motion carried 4-1 (McClung opposed). <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a <br />motion to approve Ordinance 2015-006, an ordinance amending Chapter 13 <br />of the Arden Hills City Code to rezone the 427-Acre TCAAP property. <br /> <br />Mayor Grant stated that he would have liked to have seen the retail more integrated into the <br />residential neighborhoods; however, this was not the case. <br /> <br />Councilmember Woodburn indicated that he had a lot of trouble passing the rezoning as <br />proposed, but would support the motion as recommended by staff. <br /> <br />The motion carried 4-1 (McClung opposed). <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayor Grant moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a motion to <br />approve Ordinance 2015-007, an ordinance amending Chapter 13 of the <br />Arden Hills City Code and adopting the TCAAP Redevelopment Code (TRC) <br />as Section 1380 of the Arden Hills Zoning Code. The motion carried 4-1 <br />(McClung opposed). <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayor Grant moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a motion to <br />approve publishing a summary of Ordinance 2015-006 and Ordinance 2015- <br />007. The motion carried 4-1 (McClung opposed). <br /> <br />9. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. Accept City Administrator’s Retirement Letter <br /> <br />Director of Finance and Administrative Services Iverson requested the Council accept City <br />Administrator Klaers’ retirement letter effective October 2, 2015. <br /> <br />Mayor Grant reviewed the memorandum from City Administrator Klaers in further detail with <br />the Council.
