Motion to Approve 2016-18 Agreement for Law Enforcement Services <br /> MOTION: Councilmember McClung moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a <br /> motion to approve the Consent Calendar as amended and to authorize <br /> execution of all necessary documents contained therein. The motion carried <br /> unanimously (4-0). <br /> 7. PULLED CONSENT ITEMS <br /> A. Accept Parks, Trails and Recreation Committee Member Resignation <br /> Mayor Grant indicated that there was no letter of resignation within the packet for the Council to <br /> accept. <br /> Councilmember Holden stated that a lengthy email was sent from Jennifer Stephens to City staff <br /> which contained her resignation submittal. <br /> Councilmember Holmes noted that she had read the email as well and believed that this should <br /> serve as notice of her resignation. <br /> Mayor Grant was in favor of tabling action on this item until the City received a letter of <br /> resignation from Ms. Stephens. <br /> MOTION: Mayor Grant moved a motion to table action on this item until the City <br /> received a letter of resignation from Jennifer Stephens. The motion failed 1-3 <br /> (Holden, Holmes and McClung opposed). <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Holmes moved and Councilmember McClung seconded a <br /> motion to Accept Parks, Trails and Recreation Committee Member <br /> Resignation. <br /> Mayor Grant requested that the email from Ms. Stephens be distributed to the entire City <br /> Council. <br /> The motion carried unanimously (4-0). <br />
