Motion to Approve 2016-18 Agreement for Law Enforcement Services MOTION: Councilmember McClung moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a motion to approve the Consent Calendar as amended and to authorize execution of all necessary documents contained therein. The motion carried unanimously (4-0). 7. PULLED CONSENT ITEMS A. Accept Parks, Trails and Recreation Committee Member Resignation Mayor Grant indicated that there was no letter of resignation within the packet for the Council to accept. Councilmember Holden stated that a lengthy email was sent from Jennifer Stephens to City staff which contained her resignation submittal. Councilmember Holmes noted that she had read the email as well and believed that this should serve as notice of her resignation. Mayor Grant was in favor of tabling action on this item until the City received a letter of resignation from Ms. Stephens. MOTION: Mayor Grant moved a motion to table action on this item until the City received a letter of resignation from Jennifer Stephens. The motion failed 1-3 (Holden, Holmes and McClung opposed). MOTION: Councilmember Holmes moved and Councilmember McClung seconded a motion to Accept Parks, Trails and Recreation Committee Member Resignation. Mayor Grant requested that the email from Ms. Stephens be distributed to the entire City Council. The motion carried unanimously (4-0).
