The Public Safety Committee is seriously concerned with the Village's dog
problem. A tougher ordinance is contemplated. Complaints have increased,
of barking and'howling dogs, instances of dogs chasing and, biting people,
more and more running loose and uncontrolled. And we are all"too familiar
with the unpleasantness of cleaning up the "deposits" left in our yards.
Arden Hills' dog ordinance states that dogs must be,under the control of '
owners at all times - obviously this is not the case and the Public Safety
Committee and Council are strongly considering recommending, ,passing and
enforcing a much stricter dog ordinance.
Request from the Police Department: The Sheriff's Association has raised
$60,000 for the Isanti County.
