<br /> <br />DATE: December 14, 2015 <br /> <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br />Sue Iverson, Acting City Administrator <br /> <br />FROM: Amy Dietl, City Clerk <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Accept Resignation of EDC Chair Steve Heikkila <br /> <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />The Chair of the Economic Development Commission (EDC), Steve Heikkila, is resigning from <br />his position effective January 31, 2016, due to the fact that his employer is moving from the City <br />of Arden Hills, which will make it difficult for him to attend meetings after January 2016. <br /> <br />Mr. Heikkila’s resignation creates a vacancy on the commission as well as a vacant chair <br />position.
