'It <br /> -ARDEN�HILLS <br /> Approved: February 8, 2016 <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br /> SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br /> JANUARY 13,2016 <br /> ARDEN HILLS CITY HALL <br /> CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Grant called to order the special City <br /> Council work session at 5:00 p.m. <br /> Present: Mayor David Grant; Councilmembers Brenda Holden, Fran Holmes, and <br /> Dave McClung <br /> Absent: None <br /> Also present: Interim City Administrator Sue Iverson; Community Development Director <br /> Jill Hutmacher; and City Attorney Joel Jamnik <br /> 1. AGENDA ITEMS <br /> A. Interviews for City Council Vacancy <br /> The Council conducted interviews of City Council candidates Steven Scott, Hoda Kemp, Brian <br /> Wagner, and Jonathan Wicklund. <br /> B. TCAAP Goals <br /> Mayor Grant explained that City Attorney Joel Jamnik had drafted TCAAP goals for the Council <br /> to review. <br /> City Attorney Jamnik reported that the goals were drafted in a similar format as the County's <br /> and took into consideration the comments made by the Council at their work session on January <br /> 11 th. He requested that the Council review the goals and provide staff with further direction. <br /> Mayor Grant asked if the Council should address the amount of retail on TCAAP. <br /> Community Development Director Hutmacher discussed the amount of retail and non-retail <br /> space that could be built on TCAAP. She estimated that there could be over 2 million square feet <br /> of retail on the site. <br />
