Page 1 of 1 <br /> <br />DATE: February 8, 2016 <br /> <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br />Sue Iverson, Interim City Administrator <br /> <br />FROM: Amy Dietl, City Clerk <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Amended 2016 Fee Schedule <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />The City Council approved the 2016 Fee Schedule at its meeting on December 14, 2015. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Staff recently noticed a discrepancy on the fee schedule. After researching what other cities <br />charge for contractor licenses, staff intended to propose an increase to the contractor license fee <br />(page eight of the fee schedule); however, it was somehow missed at the time of publishing the <br />2016 Fee Schedule. Staff proposes raising the $55 fee to $75. <br /> <br />Since the 2016 Fee Schedule needed to come back to the Council for approval of that <br />amendment, staff was asked to again review the schedule for additional changes. <br /> <br />Other housekeeping items include an update to the right-of-way permit fee (found on page five) <br />as well as the recycling fee (found on page ten). <br /> <br />Requested Action <br /> <br />Motion to approve Ordinance 2016-002 amending the 2016 Fee Schedule and authorizing <br />publication of the Ordinance Summary. <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> <br />Attachment A: Ordinance 2016-002 – Appendix A – 2016 Fee Schedule <br />Attachment B: Summary of Ordinance 2016-002 <br />CONSENT ITEM – 5G <br /> <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br />
